Cancellation, Credit & Rescheduling Policy pertaining to government-enforced restrictions of COVID-19 pandemic
31 March 2020
We are an independent Australian family-owned business and continue to suffer significant losses from the pandemic. We will be fighting to return Sunrover Tours to its full capacity as soon as possible. To do this we are making all efforts to mitigate our losses, which will allow us to trade through the crisis to retain our staff for your holiday at a time when you can take it.
If you are unable to travel with Sunrover due to the Government restrictions pertaining to COVID-19 you may choose to cancel your booking or rebook another date valid of 2 years. However as per advice we have received from the ACCC we will be charging a 20% cancellation fee at the time of refund. Due to the large volumes of requests at this time, refunds are to be processed within 30 days of cancellation.
Due to the extraordinary circumstances of these government-imposed restrictions, we have introduced this cancellation policy to fairly apportion the direct costs incurred to the business which are beyond our control. Should a guest choose to cancel instead of receiving a credit for future travel, our finance department have determined that the costs absorbed by our business in the attraction, management, and cancellation to be proportionate value of 20% of the original booking.
